The Thursday Threesome (05/08/08)::Fife and Drum?::
Onesome: Fife-- Barney? ...a musical instrument? ...the number after 'four'? What came to mind when you saw this week's title? The first thought that came to mind was what the h***? I am 45 and this seems OLD! I have no idea what a fife is.
Twosome: and--do you recall a painting of a fife and drum set with a flag? No? Maybe one of our American History majors can link it in...I know I have seen something like this but don't know where? Maybe my grandfather's den years ago?
Threesome: Drum--lines? Do you love them? ...or do you even know they exist? I'm wondering if this is an "Eastern" thing All I think of when I see drum line is a marching band. I was in flag line my Freshman year of high school, does that count?
