Onesome: Leggo'-- of that! Okay, is there something (sure, food works!) that shows up from time to time that you'd really like to have and someone else usually makes a grab for it? I'm thinking Christmas is coming and maybe those 'special' cookies need to be planned for...Around my house Krispy Kreme donuts disappear. I guess we need to buy a few more at one time.
Twosome: my-- how time flies: Back to School sales are already over and I'm seeing Thanksgiving stuff in the stores! Whaddayathink: are you ready for Summertime to be over and done with? I am ready for summertime to be over - it has been far too hot far too long and it is time for my son to go back to school!
Threesome: Eggos-- and the like: do you have a frozen food you keep around just because you actually like the darned thing? Do fudgesicles count?

Onesome: Toys--? Any new tech toys at your place? No? What would you like to have that is all sorts of "new and improved" and just hard to live without? There is really nothing that I am wanting right now. I just purchased a heat laminating machine to laminate my recipe cards but I don't think that is high tech.
Twosome: 'r-- you ready for school to be in session again? Good grief, it's only July, but the Back to School sales have been in place for a few weeks now. Do you have a trinket you're planning on buying for yourself or the kids for this next year? Mom is ready, kid is not. I only have one going off to school this year but we have done most of our school shopping. We need to find more shorts and a few more school supplies and we'll be done. I will appreciate having my days to myself and appreciate my son when he get home. Only three more weeks until school.
Threesome: Us--? Nah, nothing fancy going on on this blog space. How about you: any changes planned on your site in the upcoming months? I don't have anything planned but I have thought about changing my header pictures.

::Filling Out Forms::
Onesome: Filling-- the ol' fuel tank is getting to be real interesting lately... What are gas prices doing in your area this Summer? We have hit a high of about $4.09.
Twosome: Out- and about and you're out of cash: the ATM or the store for a few bucks over on the check? Oh! ...and debit or credit? ...or are you a 'cash economy' person? If I am out of cash I will get money from my debit card at Wally World. I usually always use my debit card, I hardly ever carry cash.
Threesome: Forms-- can be a real pain! Do you have a 'favorite' you dislike even to think about? (...and no, the income tax forms are 'exempt' from this question !) I hate to fill out employment forms.

Onesome: So-- what if everyone else does it?!? I'm different and I'm going to do it my way! Heh, what is that for you? ...the peanut butter and banana sandwich? ...tie-dyed seat covers for the car? ...or maybe an unusual sport? I guess my whole life is "doing it my way". I don't try to please people and I usually do what I want when I want. Fortunately my honey loves me just the way I am!
Twosome: Ya'll-- gonna' be catchin' any big ol' trout this year? ...any fishing people out there on the porch? Hey, even watching on TV counts for something... I don't like to fish but both my boys do. Especially my oldest. He is a good bass and snook fisherman and every once in a while Mom gets some snook! YUM!
Threesome: "like Music--, like friends": we all have different varieties we listen to from time to time. How about an update on your musical tastes? Go for it! I listen to mostly country music.

::Life Goes Faster Than You Think::
Onesome: Life Goes Faster-- than you want it to sometimes. Is anything moving just a little too fast for you lately. When I was a kid I thought my parents and other adults that told me that time goes faster the older you get were crazy. They were right. Time moves like a speeding bullet and I can't image when I am 60 or 70 how fast time will go by. It amazes me that I have two grown children and my granddaughter is 10 months old already. Seems she was just born last week.
Twosome: (Faster) Than You-- can pull a search? ...anyone know where the subject and title for this week's T-3 came from off the top of their head? No? It's worth a quick search... Kenny Chesney's song "Don't Blink"? That song really makes you think.
Threesome: Think-- ing about Summer? Time at the beach? Vacation plans? ...or not: has the fuel price thing put a hold on some plans? ...or are you thinking of alternate forms of travel for Summer fun? The fuel prices as well as me being out of job since November will probably keep us at home this summer. We may take a long weekend somewhere but nothing splashy. I wish we could go somewhere cooler, like the mountains.

::Anna's Tax Wholesale Sale::
Onesome: Anna's Tax-- Okay, what is the most onerous tax you've ever run across? Yes, alcohol and tobacco can fit in, but I was thinking of some regional quirk... I can't think of any local tax that is crazy.
Twosome: Wholesale-- or retail? Do you prefer to drive to the wholesale stores to save over the regular store prices? ...or does the handy 5000 pack of macaroni and cheese not work for you? We do shop the wholesale stores but mostly for paper products and drinks. Occasionally we will pick up a huge quantity if we are having a party or get together but usually I shop at Wal-Mart.
Threesome: Sale-- Do you have 'Tax Free' sales in your area? Every so often one of the hardware places has a "We Pay the Sales Tax" weekend. ...and hey, 8% is 8%! The week before school starts they have a tax free week here. Our county tax is 6% but I am not going to fight the crowds the week before school starts to save 6%. We have also had weeks during hurricane season where you could get hurricane supplies (under a certain dollar amount) tax free.

Onesome: Mark--ing devices? What do you use to mark things up around the house, school, work, wherever? Does the Sharpie rule? ...or do you believe in the sanctity of the pencil ? I guess I grab whatever is handy.
Twosome: "My-- day starts off best when I......" I'll let you fill in the blank at your place! My day starts off best when I have gotten a good night's sleep.
Threesome: Words-- of a feather clump together? Nah, but hey: what word pairings do you use routinely? Are you into alliteration? ...pithy comments? 'Down home' sayings? Give it up for Thursday! Since I spend most of the day alone I guess I don't have any special sayings as such.

::Fife and Drum?::
Onesome: Fife-- Barney? ...a musical instrument? ...the number after 'four'? What came to mind when you saw this week's title? The first thought that came to mind was what the h***? I am 45 and this seems OLD! I have no idea what a fife is.
Twosome: and--do you recall a painting of a fife and drum set with a flag? No? Maybe one of our American History majors can link it in...I know I have seen something like this but don't know where? Maybe my grandfather's den years ago?
Threesome: Drum--lines? Do you love them? ...or do you even know they exist? I'm wondering if this is an "Eastern" thing All I think of when I see drum line is a marching band. I was in flag line my Freshman year of high school, does that count?

::The Magic Month of May::
Onesome: The magic-- of Spring? Has it started yet where you are? ...or if you're 'down under', how is Autumn progressing? I live in sunny Southwest Florida where Spring passed up by. We are having Summer weather already - many days of 85-88 degree heat. At least we all have air conditioning.
Twosome: month of-- transition? Are you looking to be out of school? ...to have the kids out of school? No? Heh. How about just thinking about where you want to go this Summer? ...maybe within walking distance, -no? I have a son graduating from high school this month. Kid #2 is an adult! How did I get two grown children? As far as a vacation, I would love to go someplace cooler but don't know if Dave will be able to get away for as long as I would like to go! And I don't want to go without him!
Threesome: May-- I ask you if you know which song the title for today's piece was taken from? I'm thinking Laanba has a chance at it, but any fan of Dumbledore's original actor might know it...I have NO idea!
