Sunday Scrappin'

My mom was visiting this week so I didn't get as much done as planned but I do enjoy having her visit so I won't complain.

My ta-da's for this week include:

  1. My mom and I hit A. C. Moore, JoAnne's and Michael's this week and I think I got something scrapbook related at all three. I found a really cool set of birthday acrylic stamps at A.C. Moore that were on clearance. And the set had a cupcake!
  2. I changed gears regarding the 2001 pictures that I started on last week. I just had so many pictures that I was becoming overwhelmed. I realized that I have just a few pictures from 2003 that need to be scrapbooked so I went through those pictures and page planned 6-8 two page layouts.
  3. I am always beading in the evenings. I can bead and watch tv and chat all at the same time. I completed a bracelet, a set with a bracelet, necklace and earrings and a set with just a bracelet and necklace.
  4. I placed an order with Art Beads for things I need to complete some UFO's (UnFinished Objects).

My to-do list is very short. I leave for Atlanta on Wednesday and Bailey has an appointment with the orthopedic specialist on Monday so I don't have too much time.

  1. I have to get my beading area cleaned up and some leftover beads and things put away. There is stuff on the couch and the floor. With Bailey starting to crawl around I need that area to be safe.
  2. I also need to clean up my scrapping area.
  3. I would like to finish page planning 2003. Some of my purchases this week was stuff to work on those pages so hopefully I can get them planned.

Bonus Question: What kind of projects do you do the most often? Right now I have been into beading and creating jewelry. I find beading very relaxing and although I don't wear many of my beaded creations I love to make them. I guess I should put them on eBay or Etsey if I'm not going to wear them or give them as gifts.

I love that you're into beading! My aunt is huge into beading. It does seem like a lot of fun. Good luck on your goals this week and have a safe trip! :)

I had actually tried some beading for my DD as I wanted to make her a link for her binkie but I ended up making a necklace for her dollie instead! I think I still have some beads around here somewhere! I should give it another go and make some more necklaces for her dollies! lol (she doesn't play with the dollie yet its an American Girl doll I'll let her play when she gets older! lol)

I like to bead too, but for some reason, I don't like to wear it if I make it...I always like other people's creations better! Have a good trip and good luck with your to-dos!

Hi, I found Sunday Scrappin through Chrissy :D How fun that you bead. My aunt loves to bead and used to make me jewelry all the time. I hope you have a safe trip.

I have never tried beading but it sounds like fun. I would love to see some photos of your work!

I know what you mean by being overwhelmed by the number of photos from a certain year. My suggestion would be to start small and find sketches that you like with lots of spots for photos!

Have fun on your trip and I hope the doctor appointment goes good.

I love beading too, although these days its hard to do it with a toddler, lol. Still, I always linger in the bead aisles at the craft stores.

I used to do a lot of beading but now I just use them on my scrapbooking pages. Lol

Have a safe trip and good luck getting your goals met.

I have done one beading project and would like to do more... but I have too many hobbies and too much money already spent on my other hobbies. Lol.

Good luck with your goals and beading.
