Sunday March 16, 2008

My TA-DA's (accomplishments) for the week is a short list. This is my first week participating in Sunday Scrappin' and I am hoping it will get me motivated to actually do some scrapbooking. This week I worked on organizing my space. I also went shopping at both A.C. Moore and Michael's. I purchased some of the $1.00 clear stamps and a couple of spools of Spring themed ribbon.

My TO-DO's (plans/goals) for this coming week include finishing the organizing of the stuff that I have out. I still have 6 boxes of scrapbook stuff that I need to go thru but if I get thru the stuff sitting out I will be happy. I also would like to actually scrapbook or stamp something this week!

Bonus Question: How long could you keep on crafting without buying new supplies? Oh my gosh, since I have owned a brick and morter scrapbook store and have been a Close to My Heart consultant for over six years I could probably keep scrapbooking for the rest of my life and not run out of anything other than adhesive!

Thanks for joining us for SS! :) I'll have my own post up later tonight. I'm with you on supplies- I think I could go a long time without buying anything but adhesive, and maybe a little cardstock.

Welcome to Sunday Scrappin. I agree I could go a length of time with only buying adhesive but there is always that must have item that makes me go to the store. LOL! Can't wait to see some of your creations

Welcome! Can't wait to see your creations! I worked at Michael's for four years, so I had a TON of stuff too when I did paper scrapping. I still have enough to complete a few albums, lol.

This is only my 2nd week of Sunday Scrapping, but it's fun for other crafters to see and hear what your going through in the crafting realm. No one else really appreciates it, you know? Like my husband thinks the scrapbook is neat, but he doesn't craft so doesn't know the awesome feeling of creating a page and having someone else to admire and appreciate it. This gives me a chance to say ta-da! Good job for beginning the organization process!

I have been working on organization in my stamping space as well. It's a hard process but it's going to be so worth it in the end so kudos to you! :) Have a great week!
