Sunday Scrappin'

I can hardly believe it is the last weekend in May and school is out next week. Time for Sunday Scrappin'.

This week's ta-da's include a lot of layout for the 40 Days of Joy challenge I am participating in over at Divine Digitals. This has been a most rewarding process and I am loving the new quick pages Royanna is offering. You can see my layouts for Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6 and Day 7. Most days I have done two page and I will go back and do additional pages so this will make a nice album when it is finished.

Here are the rest of the pages I got finished this week. This first is a two page layout for My 365 Project.
This is Layout 21 from 365 Days.
And the May layout for A Snapshot of My Life.
This is for Challenge #3 over at Journal It. This was an interesting challenge and one that took some thought.
My to-do's this week:
  1. Get off the computer and get my house cleaned up! Not scrapbook related but a must do!
  2. Stay current with the 40 Days of Joy Challenge.
  3. Stay current with my More Mad Digital Skillz with Pattie Knox over at Get it Scrapped.
Have a great Sunday and Happy June!

Sunday Scrappin'

It's time for Sunday Scrappin' for Memorial Day weekend. I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend.

My ta-da't this week include a number of digital layouts. The first two are from My 365 Project. You can see the rest of my photos and quotes here.

This is Layout 19 from last year's 365 Days which is what I am basing My 365 Project on.
I have started following the challenges on Divine Digitals called 40 Days of JOY - with Royanna Fritschmann. This is an amazing challenge with the life story of Royanna and the great journaling quotes and freebie quick pages. I feel blessed to have started this challenge and look forward to each day. You can see my other Joy pages here and here.
I think I read about the Journal It challenge blog on Melanie's blog. This is my take on Challenge #2.
And this is Layout 20 from 365 Days. This is one of my favorite layouts.
I also kept up with My 365 Project blog and am very happy about that!

My to-do's this week include:

  1. Continue being blessed and work on the 40 Days of Joy challenges.
  2. Possibly plan and design a Wellness Journal.
  3. I am started a new class over at Get It Scrapped called MORE Mad Digital Skillz so I want to incorporate some of what I learn in new digi layouts.
  4. Continue working on getting my craft space organized.
Last week's challenge was to go 3-D! I didn't do this since all my layouts this week are digi. This week's challenge is to do a layout all in black and white. Should be fun!

Have a great Sunday and a scrappy week!

40 Days of Joy - Day 2

For Day 2 of 40 Days of Joy we were to use a provided Quick Page and create a one page layout that describes 5 key elements/people/thoughts/quotes/etc. to remind you to choose JOY or Why choose JOY each DAY! To follow the 40 Days of Joy click here. This awesome challenge reminds me of a class I took about a year ago on Big Picture Scrapbooking based on the book
Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting: The Astonishing Power of Feelings by Lynn Grabhorn. I thought this book was so good that I got it for both of my older children.

The second part of the challenge was to use another provided quick page.

40 Days of Joy

I received an email this morning that has got me excited and thinking. It's a new challenge over at Divine Digital. The reason I am excited is that my word for 2009 is JOY! This looks to be an interesting challenge. I can't wait to see what all this brings.

BRAND NEW CHALLENGE!
with Royanna Fritschmann

in|JOY - in|SPIRED
{daily challenge & journaling prompt}

Journaling prompt: Write Down your own meaning of joy.

I chose Joy as my word of the year for 2009. I want to remember to feel Joy and see Joy even through the circumstances I am in. I want to enJoy my life, enJoy my family, enJoy my experiences. I want to see the good in life, I want to see the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, I want to have a Joyful song in my heart. Jesus want his followers to be full of Joy. And I want to be filled with Joy.

Challenge: Do a simple layout with the word JOY and the meaning you wrote down.

Sunday Scrappin'

It's time for Sunday Scrappin'. If you are a scrapbooker or paper crafter come join us. My ta-da's this week are again all digi. I haven't even been in my scrapbook room in week. We are thinking of turning it back into a bedroom (and nursery for Bailey) and moving my scrapbook supplies back downstairs.

This was layout prompt 18 from 365 Days. This is the blog I am following for My 365 project.
Two more layouts from My 365 project.

Valentine's Day 2009 layouts

A freebie class from Jessica Sprague. This was a drag and drop layout - she did all the work. I just added a picture and journaling.
Another Jessica Sprague class. This is from her Extraction class. Lots and lots of layers on this layout.
Pictures from my trip to Arizona in February of one of my best buddies Wendy and her cats.

Two pages on us trying out a new restaurant.

And a two pager on my crazy son and his even crazier friend.
My to-do's for this week include:
  1. Continue digi scrapping.
  2. Get my head around what I really want to do regarding my craft room.
  3. Update My 365 Project blog. Everytime I get it updated I fall behind again. At least I am only a week behind.
  4. Continue organizing my paper supplies. A stack of boxes in the hallway fell and I have stickers all over the place. I am also bidding on another section of scraprack on eBay and hopefully that will get me motivated to continue getting organized.
The challenge for last week was to use flower. I used flowers on my eyeglass layout and My 365 layouts and there were pictures of flowers on my Valentine's Day layouts. This week's challenge: go 3-D! Use something dimensional on your scrapbook layout, or, create a 3-D object out of paper. There are all kinds of possibilities with this one!

Have a great Sunday!

Sunday Scrappin'

Sunday Scrappin' on Mother's Day May 10, 2009. Come and join in the fun!

I have been really tired and my feet hurt when I get home from working at the thrift store so I haven't really done much around the house. But, I did get some digi scrapping done again this week.

This first layout is the title page for My 365 Project.
I started scrapping my 2009 pictures. Thought it would be cool to work on really current pictures. I am done with January and about half way done with February. Here are some layouts of guess who? Bailey Boo!

Here is Aprils layout for A Snapshot of my Life.
And more January layouts.

And a February layout.
This week my plan is to continue my digi scrapping. I also need to download my pictures to My 365 Project blog and do my journaling. I have fallen behind a week again but I will get caught up. I have taken the pictures just haven't updated my blog.

Have a great Sunday and a Happy Mother's Day!
