Sunday Scrappin

So, it's been three weeks in a row that I have done some scrapbooking and I am doing the happy dance. I just want to continue creating and enjoying the process. Since it is once again Sunday, I am showing off my completed layouts for Sunday Scrappin'.

All of my layouts are digital and all are from classes I have taken from Jessica Sprague. The first layout is of my latest granddaughter Bella. Her mommy and daddy stopped by my work to visit so I took a couple of pics. Isn't she precious?
The layout is Bill and his oldest daughter, Kadie. Kadie graduated from Port Charlotte High School with honors and we are very proud of her.
The next layout is of the first day of high school for Brent last August. Way too early in the morning for a photo shoot but it's tradition.
Bill and I went to Spring Fling 2011 at Hammond Stadium which included some individual singers and groups we had never heard before. Train was the main event but we missed them because Bailey was being difficult. This layout is us going into the concert in front of the big fountain.
So, there are my ta-da's. My to-do's this week is 1.) scrapbook and 2.) keep up with my Power Scrapping - Digi Style class I am taking over at Big Picture Scrapbooking with Katie the Scrapbook Lady.

Have a nice Sunday afternoon, a restful Memorial Day and enjoy your week.

Sunday Scrappin

I am so happy that it has been two weeks in row that I have scrapbooked and posted! I have used a few a Jessica Sprague's Photoshop Friday lessons to do the following layouts.

My to-do's for next week are simple - just scrapbook.

Sunday Scrappin

Now I don't want anyone to faint dead away since I am posting today. I cannot believe how long it's been since I posted. Not sure why I've been away, but I have been scrapbooking this week. I finally decided to just sit down at the computer and scrapbook. I am so glad I did because I got seven layouts completed and another one started.

The first six layouts are about my visit to Pennsylvania in 2010. That is the year my Dad and I flew to PA and drove a U-Haul back loaded with stuff from Gammy's house.

This layout is Gam & I - we spent hours reminiscing and looking at photos on my laptop.

This two page layout is my Aunt, Uncle, cousins, Dad and I are lunch the day we arrived in PA.
This two page layout is another day I spend with Gam. I love the pictures of her with her two "boys".
While in PA my Dad celebrated a birthday.
And my final page of this week is of my new granddaughter, Bella. This is her momma, Sammy and her daddy (and my son) Brandon and her - a brand new family. She was only about 7 hours old when these pictures were taken. I took Jessica Sprague's Digi in Deeper class a few months ago and am only now doing the layouts from this class. The Brand New Family layout is the first layout of that class.

So there are my ta-da's for the week. My to-do's for this coming week are to get some pictures downloaded from Nicole's camera and to do some more scrapbooking. It felt so good to be creative again!

Sunday Scrappin

I cannot believe how long it has been since I have posted on my blog. Sad thing is, I haven't been crafty much during that time either. But, I finally had a moment of inspiration and came up with something that is already making my life easier.

I crafted a holiday planner. I found this sweet spiral bound notebook at Michael's for $1.00!
Made two pockets for the front and back covers. Cut cardstock and patterned paper to fit the inside pages and created the labels in Photoshop and then printed them out. Stapled a folded piece of ribbon on each divider page and voila, I have a holiday planner.

My to-do list this week is just to craft something. I so want to craft but can't find the motivation to actually do. Maybe once my classes are over in early December I will get motivated.

Have a great Sunday!

Sunday Scrappin'

It is Sunday and time once again for Sunday Scrappin'. If you are a paper crafter please come join us!

I got eight digital layouts done this week and am really happy that I did. The first four are from the last three weeks of Photoshop Fridays from Jessica Sprague. I love her classes and her Photoshop Fridays class are available for $1.00 the week they are released.

The last four layouts are of Bailey's 3rd birthday. I used sketches from Paper Craft Planet.

Did you hear about the free class over at Big Picture Scrapbooking? It's call Big Festival and it is 13 days of project and layouts from a different instructor each day. It is an awesome class and the price is right! Last day to sign up is August 24th.

My to-do's for next week: (copied and pasted from last week with a few alterations)
  1. Continue doing something, anything in my never ending quest for organization of my scrap supplies.
  2. I have all the pictures taken and downloaded to my computer, I now need to post them on my other blog and journal My Project Life 365.
  3. I still have not done a thing other than download the materials from the on line class with Shimelle Lane. It is both photography and scrapbooking so I want to get started with that this week. This one has been on my to-do list for four weeks now. Ugh!
  4. Scrapbook four pages - either paper or digital.
I am counting my four layouts of Bailey's birthday for the challenge last week of finishing up a layout. I have been working on these layouts for awhile and finally put the finishing touches on them.

Have a great week and happy Sunday Scrappin'.

Sunday Scrappin'

It is bright and early Sunday morning and time to share what I have accomplished crafty this week. The first two layouts are from Jessica Sprague's Photoshop Friday class. Each Wednesday she has a new Photoshop Friday class that is only $1.00. It is a quick, easy page but with something really special to it. I usually try and complete a companion page to coordinate with the class page.
This week we made the round sticker from scratch. I reused it on the companion page.
The next pages are my completed Project Life pages. I am about a week behind on my Project Life blog but I have the pictures taken, I just have to upload them and then journal. This album is so much fun and so super easy.

My to-do's this week are almost the same as every other week. I am starting back to work on Tuesday so finding time to craft may prove a bit difficult.

  1. Continue work on Project Life and My 365 for 2009. It would be really nice to cross off My 365 for 2009 once and for all.
  2. I found a project that I started mid-2009. It's a class I took over at Big Picture Scrapbooking called This is Me. It is in an 8" x 8" album and I found all the class materials so I am hoping to finish this project in the next few weeks.
  3. I have been going through my bead patterns and purging. I need to finish this project before Tuesday so I can get my living room back to normal.
  4. Find some balance in going back to work and continuing to sell on eBay. I don't want the eBay business to be put on the back burner. Everything I sell is one less thing in my house!
  5. I am not even going to worry about organizing scrapbook supplies this week - not a priority!
Other than some pictures in my Project Life album I didn't do anything with the food related challenge from last week.

Have a super week and happy Sunday Scrappin'!

Sunday Scrappin'

I got a few things done this week for Sunday Scrappin'. I got two more weeks done on my Project Life album.

And I am taking the Type + Writer 2 class over at Jessica Sprague. I am behind a few days but I have been able to do a few of the writing assignments and layouts. The first one is about my visit with Gammy a few weeks ago.
A layout about changes - 30 years worth of changes.
And then a two page layout about a week in my life. Kind of reminds me of my Project Life project but I went ahead and did it anyway.
I think I could just copy and paste my to-do's from week to week. It is near the end of the semester for school and I have lots to do so I haven't really been spending too much time scrapping.
  1. Work 15 minutes per day organizing my scrapbook supplies. I still haven't started, yikes!
  2. Work on getting caught up with My 365 2009 photos.
The challenge this week was to scrap a favorite activity. I think my layout about Gam and me qualifies as spending time with my family is a favorite activity. Have a great week!
