TMI Tuesday #143 - School Days Edition July 15, 2008
1. What were you known as in HS (Jock, Princess, Geek) Smart Kid.
2. What were you really? Very shy.
3. If you could go back and tell your 16 year old self one thing, what would it be? Something on the order of Brad Paisley's Letter to Me song. Not to worry about what is going on right now that your adult life is going to be so much better than your teenage years.
4. If you could erase one moment from your school days what would it be? I can't think of any one moment.
5. Who did you not date (or more) that you wish you did? I can't think of anyone - but since I met Dave I wish I had met him earlier in my life.
Bonus (as in optional): If you went to prom, describe your outfit. For both my prom's my mom made my dress. Junior year I wore a light blue floral spaghetti strap dress with a full skirt, Senior year my mom started a slinky hunter green dress that looked horrible on. Fortunately she had a long brown dress with an off white bodice that fit perfect.

TMI Tuesday #141 - Marriage Edition July 1, 2008
1. Do you believe in marriage? I absolutely believe in marriage.
2. What is marriage to you? A loving, caring relationship between two people who look out for the other.
3. If you are married, why did you do it? If you are not, why have you not married? We are not married due to an ex who is a total and complete b**** and would try and take my house if we were married. It's a long and complicated story. But we live together as if we were married. We couldn't be any more married if we were married.
4. Do you believe in divorce? I don't believe in divorce but I have been divorced twice.
5. If you are divorced, why did you do it? If you have not, are there certain circumstances under which you would agree to a divorce? I was 20 when I got my first divorce after less than a year of marriage, he was lazy and refused to work. My second divorce came after 17 years of marriage. I left due to emotional and mental abuse and have found out since the divorce about all sorts of illegal activities that he was (and is) involved in. Fortunately I got out before he got in trouble for those things.
Bonus (as in optional): [ed note:I am not trying to spark a get political debate, I am much to superficial for that]Do you believe that same sex marriages are a threat to traditional marriages? I can't see why they are a threat to traditional marriages. If same sex marriages are not allowed will there be more traditional marriages? I don't think so. Just my opinion.

1. Do you believe anyone truly likes their job? If so, why? I think there are a good number of people who like their job. If they are doing something they enjoy or are passionate about.
2. Do you 1) live to work or 2) work to live 3) not see a difference? Work to live.
3. How many hours do you work a week? I am working from home right now and only spend about 15-20 hours a week working.
4. What was your safety item (i.e. blankie) from when you were little? I don't remember if I had a blankie or some other safety item.
5. Have you ever used food during sex? Does a glass of water afterwards count?
Bonus (as in optional):What is your guilty food pleasure? I can't think of any guilty food pleasure. We eat out a lot so that might be it.

1. How old were you when you first kissed a boy? I don't remember that first kiss but I know I was young probably in third or fourth grade.
2. Who would play you in the movie of your life story? Not sure.
3. What is the number one thing your love/hate about gay people? Can't think of anything.
4. If you could legally get married to "the fella" - or any fella - would you? I am not sure who "the fella" is but yes, if I could I would marry MY fella.
5. Have you ever worn short short shorts in public? years ago when I was thin

1. What lines have you used to let someone down gently. I usually don't use lines, I just stop communicating with the person.
2. If I gave you $10K to waste, what would you buy. Money to waste? I guess I would have to buy something - maybe build the addition to our screen patio or new appliances for the kitchen?
3. If I gave you $10K, but you had to spend it all on someone else, what would you buy. Maybe put a down payment on a small house for my daughter and granddaughter so they don't have to live with my ex.
4. If your partner brought a *** to bed, you'd be ____________? Ok, this was WAY too personal and unappropiate for some of my readers so I am not going to answer it.
5. What sounds to you make during sex. Depends on if the kids are home.
Bonus (as in optional): Tell your worst break up story. Well, since I have only had one break up in over 24 years, my worst break up would have been my marriage. It's amazing the things that come out of people's mouths after being married for 17 years. You wonder why you ever married them in the first place. Then to find out a few years later that there was a price for your death is even more amazing.

1. How many credit cards do you own? Are they paid off? When I got divorced five years ago I paid off all my credit cards and now I don't have any!
2. Can you be in love with someone you don't trust? I guess maybe you could be in love with the person but I wouldn't be with that person.
3. Should prostitution be legal? It kind of is - it's called marriage!
4. On a scale of 1-10, how good of a lover do you think you are? (1 is lowest, 10 is highest) 6-7, always room for improvement.
5. What are three mistakes someone could make on the first date with you that would automatically make you turn down a second date with them? Trying to impress me, excessive complaining about an ex, trying to comvince me to have sex with them.
Bonus (as in optional): Tell us about your worst date ever. Ok, how about the first date with a guy that tells me marriage is for life. He would kill his wife before he would allow her to divorce him. And at the time I was a newly divorced woman!

1. Is there a TV show you HAVE to watch? If so, what is it? Nothing that I have to watch. I enjoy Bones, House, Ugly Betty and the CSI's.
2. What is you favorite drink if you are going to drink more than one? Smirnoff Ice over ice.
3. How long do you carry guilt around with you? I am a mom so I can carry guilt for a long, long time!
4. Where is or would be your number one romantic get away spot? Anywhere that I am with Dave alone! My favorite so far was a weekend on Ft Myers Beach.
5. Have you ever seen a counselor? Oh yeah, before I got divorced. She helped me see I couldn't change him so I either had to change the way I dealt with him or leave.
Bonus (as in optional): Last summer the Archives of Sexual Behavior the 237 reasons people have sex and the Top 50 Reasons Men and Women Have Sex. What are your top 5 reasons?

1. How many cell phones have you had? How long have you had your current cell phone number? I have had my current cell phone number for over 6 years, it is a way cool number and easy to remember. I think I have only have two cell phones since I had this number and probably two before that.
2. Where was the last place you had sex? Same place we always do, our wonderful bed.
3. On a scale of 1-10, how satisfied are you with your love life? (1 is lowest, 10 is highest) Can't complain about my love life, I would rate it a 9. Now if I lost some weight I may feel like it more.
4. Does Bliss sound like a fun game to you? Have you ever played it? I have never played it but I am not sure about that kind of game played on the computer?
5. Is there anything or anyone you would be willing to die for? My kids, my grandchild.
Bonus (as in optional): If you were (or had) a magic genie and could only grant wishes for others and you only had three left, what would they be and who would they be for? I would take one wish for my parents, for financial help. I would take another wish for daughter for mental health. I would take my third wish for Dave, to get his financial problems taken care of.

1. Early bird or night owl? Early bird.
2. Where was the first place you ever had sex? At my boyfriend's trailer, July 4, 1980.
3. On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you? (1 is lowest, 10 is highest) About an 8 1/2. I have a great man, great kids, an awesome granddaughter, a beautiful, comfortable home, a wonderful family, and enough money to pay the bills. A couple of things that bring the score down - I need to loose 50 pounds and although we have enough money to pay the bills I would like to be working at home.
4. Are you more submissive or dominant? I guess dominant. Dave and I are both easy going but I think he does more things he doesn't really want to do than I do.
5. Do you believe in love at first sight? Absolutely!
Bonus (as in optional): Describe your bed time habits. What side do you sleep on? What do you usual wear? Any night time rituals? I sleep on the left side of the bed, I always wear a nightshirt or a nightgown. Before bed I brush my teeth, use my Arbonne RE9 Anti-Aging products and read for at least a half hour.
