Friday's Feast 10/12/07
Feast One Hundred & Sixty Four
Appetizer When was the last time you were surprised? I can't honestly remember, possibly Bailey coming three weeks early was my most recent surprise.
Soup Fill in the blanks: My eyes are ________, but I wish they were __________. My eyes are brown, but I wish they were ??? Never really wished my eyes were another color, maybe longer eyelashes?
Salad If you were a Beanie Baby, what would you look like and what would your name be? I would be some kind of cat, named Cat. Original, huh?
Main Course Name two things you consistently do that you consider to be healthy habits. I drink lots of water and eat plenty of veggies.
Dessert What brand of toothpaste are you using these days? Do you like it? Why or why not? I have no clue, I pick something from the shelf and buy it. I don't really like what I am using now, it is a white paste and I am more of a gel person.

Appetizer On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how much do you look forward to your birthday? I just celebrated a birthday last week. As far as looking forward to it - probably about a 5.
Soup What is one word you don’t like the sound, spelling, or meaning of? Nextel! It is not the sound of the word as much as the sound of the darn Nextel going off at all hours of the night. Yes, honey Dave has a Nextel with his job.
Salad Do you wear sunglasses when you’re outside? If so, what does your current pair look like? I wear sunglasses outdoors all the time. I wear what Dave's calls "Naples sunglasses". They are really cheapo sunglasses that look high fashion. I lose, break or scratch every pair of sunglasses I buy so I don't spend too much money on any of them.
Main Course If you were to write a book, to whom would you dedicate it? Either my honey, my kids or my parents. It would depend on the type of book I wrote.
Dessert Name a beverage that you enjoy. Three favs - diet root beer, iced tea or International Foods French Vanilla coffee. Yum!

Bailey is Two Months Old!
It is hard to believe that Bailey is already two months old. She has put on weight and looks so much healthier. What a chunky monkey. She is smiling and watching her mobile on her swing and she loves to listen and watch people talk. What a cutie patootie!Busy Birthday Weekend
I had a fantastic birthday weekend. My birthday was Friday. I got Happy Birthday phone calls from Dave and all the kids. I got a bouquet of flowers from my friend in Tucson, Wendy and Dave sent me these beautiful red roses. Yes, I am a spoiled brat! My friend (and boss) Sue told everyone in the office it was my birthday so I got lots of HB's and she got me a really neat necklace and bracelet from Best of Everything. What a great store.My mom had us all for dinner and what a spread! We had turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potato casserole, strawberry pretzel salad and cola cake with peanut butter icing. YUM! She got me a really cute jumper and shirt from Bon Worth and this huge mason jar that I think I will use to save change.
Dave then took me to Fort Myers Beach for Saturday night. We stayed at Diamond Head Resort and walked to a nice resturant that served great seafood. We sat on the balcony and watch the sunset and also got to watch a wedding on the beach. What a great spot for a wedding. We had a fabulous time and I just got to relax for a day. We left this morning, ran to Wally World for essentials and now we are home. Just a perfect weekend.

Appetizer How are you today? I am ok. Today is my birthday so that is a good thing but life is being tough right now.
Soup Name 3 television shows you watch on a regular basis. I don't watch too much tv but I do like House, Bones and Ugly Betty
Salad What’s the scariest weather situation you’ve experienced? Hurricane Wilma. I think the scariest thing was listening to the wind with the hurricane shutters up and not being able to see outside.
Main Course If you could wake up tomorrow morning in another country, where would you want to be? On a semi-deserted island
Dessert What do you usually wear to sleep? a nightshirt or a nightgown

Soup When was the last time you got a free lunch (or breakfast or dinner)? Who paid for it? It was probably lunch bought by my friend (who also happens to be my boss) Sue.
Salad On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how emotional are you? I am not your typical emotional woman, so about a 4 or 5.
Main Course Approximately how long do you spend each day responding to emails? Maybe 30 minutes.
Dessert To what temperature do you usually set your home’s thermostat?
78 during the summer, windows open during the winter.

Soup On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how ambitious are you? I am not at all ambitious, so about a 2.
Salad Make a sentence using the letters of a body part. (Example: (mouth) My other ukelele tings healthily.) (hand) Help, Anabelle needs diapers!
Main Course If you were to start a club, what would the subject matter be, and what would you name it? It would probably be something to do with crafting - beading or scrapbooking. I am just getting started with digitial scrapbooking so how about the Digital Divas?
Dessert What color is the carpet/flooring in your home? Downstairs oak colored wood laminate, upstairs a varigated tan Berber carpet

One Month Old
It hardly seems possible that Bailey is already a month old. Nicole and I put her next to her It's A Girl bear from Build A Bear and took her picture. We want to do this each month so we can see how much she has grown. She weighs 7 lbs 7 oz now and is as sweet as ever. Nicole has gone back to work and Great-Granny and I get to watch Bailey.Saturday, September 8, 2007

I love Autumn. Cooler temps, open windows, fun decorations, Halloween and Thanksgiving. What's not to love?

No! I have had some wonderful online experiences. I met Dave at Match.com and met Wendy on a Scrapmap site. What fun!
